Best masala tea place (self proclaimed obviously).
Can’t really say it was the best, but it was well worth the experience. It was the last day of the year. He was high. He was happy. And how he made the tea is a feat in itself. Chatter relating to which was the party to attend was all around. We walked away from it all and on to our quiet party around a bonfire. Not sure which turned out to be the best party of the tiny town, but from the many sounds we heard, it was clear that the competition was tough.
Sikkim was where a bunch of friends together brought in the new year. One of the best bringing ins.
From the posh MG Road in Gangtok, to the inaccessibly-remote reaches of North Sikkim, we built stylish snow-men, made angels in snow, had yummy mexican food, laughed, reminisced, fought and shared beautiful cups of tea.
Here, seen reflecting in my rose-tea, is a star from the christmas decorations, still waiting for the new year.
